I was born in Berkeley, Calif., and attended undergraduate school at the University of California, Berkeley. I received my master's degree in medical technology education at California State University, Dominguez Hills. I was a licensed medical technologist and section chief of Hematology prior to attending medical school.
I did two residencies. The first residency was in Pathology at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and the second was in Pediatrics at our own Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. I decided my passion was caring for children. I have been in practice with some of my current partners for many years. I fell in love with the change of seasons, the beautiful lakefront and the Green Bay Packers, and have chosen to make Milwaukee my home. I am married to a Milwaukee firefighter and have one son. I enjoy swimming, boating, biking, rafting, exercising and traveling.
