Dance movement therapy
Dance/movement therapy is the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote the emotional, social, cognitive and physical integration of an individual. Dance/movement therapy can help to facilitate the process of change for children/families facing a life-limiting illness; encouraging socialization, providing structure, addressing issues of trauma on a non-verbal level, connecting to self and expressing the stages of grief.
