This conference is for local and regional multidisciplinary healthcare professionals and researchers in oncology and community-based healthcare. The conference is focused on building collaborative partnerships to care for pediatric and adolescent and young adult (AYA) survivors. Featured topics include cancer late effects, fertility, and survivorship care plans.

Registration and Fees

Evaluations will become available the day of the event and will be available through Nov. 12, 2018. Evaluation completion is required to obtain ACE and CME credits.

Learning Outcomes

By attending this conference, attendees will have: 

  1. an increased knowledge of the importance of fertility education and ways to address fertility issues.
  2. increased knowledge and confidence in addressing late effects in cancer survivors.
  3. a better understanding of contents of a survivorship care plan and how it guides survivors’ care.
  4. increased knowledge of programs and resources available in the community for survivor referrals.

This course also fulfills Continuing Education requirements for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services for the State of Wisconsin for Social Work certification and licensure under MPSW 19. 

The course targets all levels of Social Work practice. Social Workers must complete all sessions and turn in an evaluation from in order to complete this course and receive certificate.
