Fetal interventions and surgery

The Fetal Concerns Center is the only program in the state that performs in utero interventions for a wide range of conditions:
Note: Fetal interventions and surgical procedures require a hysterotomy, which is a surgical incision of the uterus. Similar to a classic c-section, patients with a prior hysterotomy carry an increased risk of uterine rupture during childbirth. It is recommended to wait two years between pregnancies and to deliver at 37 weeks.
