Put your talents to the test for kids
Full-time and part-time openings on all three shifts!
As a medical technologist at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, you can play a key role in helping kids get the best care. Working in our hospital or clinics’ laboratories, you’ll conduct lab testing and provide timely results to medical teams so patients get the right treatment, right away.
Children’s is the region’s only independent health care system that’s totally kid-focused – with the only lab in Wisconsin that’s 100 percent dedicated to pediatrics. This singular focus brings patients a level of specialized care, service and innovation that supports the healthiest outcomes.
That’s why it’s no surprise that Children’s was named 2015 Lab of the Year – going toe-to-toe with labs of all specialties and sizes across the nation. This achievement reflects our commitment to laboratory medicine though clinical excellence, patient-centered care, comprehensive service and much more.
Help us advance our vision to make Wisconsin’s kids the healthiest in the nation by helping provide the fast, accurate lab services they need. Together, we’ll work to ensure that every child and family we serve receives nothing but the best.
At Children’s, medical technologists perform a variety of duties, including the following:

- Analyzing, evaluating, interpreting, explaining and reporting test results to provide clinical data that helps physicians diagnosis and treat patients
- Performing maintenance, QA, QC, CAP workload recording and other activities that support the everyday function of the laboratory
- Directing employees
- Solving problems and troubleshooting
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
