In a special ceremony at the Pfister Hotel last night, leaders and supporters of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin paid tribute to the community support that not only founded the hospital in 1894, but has grown Children’s into one of the nation’s top-ranked pediatric hospitals. News Release: Findings support long-term assessments to prevent and reduce developmental delays for children with congenital heart disease

Feb. 14, 2014 - Findings of the study “Risk and Prevalence of Developmental Delay in Young Children with Congenital Heart Disease” were published last week in Pediatrics. Researchers recommend systematic monitoring of children with congenital heart disease (CHD) to increase early detection and appropriate intervention for developmental delays.
