Dr. Henningfeld feels it is both an honor and a privilege to work with children with chronic respiratory illnesses and their families. She greatly enjoys caring for general pulmonary patients and has developed a passion for the care of children who require tracheostomy and home ventilation. She believes that open communication between the child, parents and general pediatrician is the key to a successful partnership between a doctor and patient.
Dr. Henningfeld was born and raised in Milwaukee, earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MD from Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Pulmonology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
