Dr. Amos has a special interest in diseases requiring both pulmonary and sleep expertise such as sleep-disordered breathing and anatomic airway abnormalities. Her training provided her with the ability to assess pulmonary status, perform bronchoscopy and interpret a sleep study, all of which children with breathing and airway problems may need. Her patients may see other subspecialties such as otolaryngology and gastroenterology, and she strongly believes in timely contact with all involved providers, including the pediatrician. She also feels that open communication with the patients’ families is essential in optimizing care.
