Brain Tumor Clinic

Children with tumors of the brain, spinal cord and nerves have many different treatment options, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy or a combination of these. A team approach is utilized to define the best treatment for each child. The Brain Tumor Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and in long-term follow-up.

Diagnostic evaluation and treatment for all types of brain, spinal cord and nerve tumors is available. This includes Gamma Knife radiosurgery and high dose chemotherapy with bone marrow transplant. Each patient's treatment plan is individualized, with continuing evaluation and changes as needed.
