The Hematology Program in the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin offers comprehensive services for the treatment of children and adolescents with acute and chronic blood diseases. Wisconsin Sickle Cell Center Children's Hospital offers comprehensive family-centered care to children affected by sickle cell disease, providing services over and above those provided by a child's personal physician or clinic that continues to direct general health and sick visit care. Referrals are received from a variety of sources, including private physicians (pediatricians, family practitioners and others), primary care clinics, local emergency rooms, parents and community agencies.

Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders Children's Hospital and BloodCenter of Wisconsin teamed up to form the Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders that serves more than 1,500 children and 1,000 adults throughout Wisconsin, upper Michigan and northern Illinois. The Comprehensive Center for Bleeding Disorders holds a weekly hemophilia clinic, as well as a weekly general diagnostic clinic for patients with other bleeding and clotting disorders.
