Project ADAM Saves Lives

Back-to-school checklist

As school begins and school sports already are in progress, please ask the following to make sure your school is prepared to respond to a sudden cardiac event:

  1. Who is your program coordinator and has it changed since last year?
    If so, please notify us.
  2. Who is responsible for manufacturer's maintenance checks?
  3. When do the pads expire?
  4. When does the battery expire?
  5. Do you have training and retraining scheduled for CPR and the AED?
  6. Do you have any mock drills scheduled?

Have you promoted your program in the school/community? It is important that everyone know an AED and emergency plan is in place at your school.
