This website is a means of communicating private duty nursing needs of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin patients to independent providers and home health agencies. All available private duty nursing providers are encouraged to check this website often for a list of jobs available (Scroll down to find a list of children by location.). Independent providers must be RNs or LPNs who have received a Wisconsin Medicaid Provider number. Consent has been obtained from the child's parent to share information with interested providers.

A reminder, Respiratory Care Services classes are required for independent nurses providing care to children on ventilators. Classes are also open to respiratory therapists and agency nurses. Dates are listed below.

Pediatric Ventilator Certification and Recertification courses are now held MONTHLY at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Pre-registration is required. The certification course requires online study and post test prior to attending the skills class.
