"A Blizzard of Activity" expected to hit Children's Hospital Friday, Dec. 21

MILWAUKEE - What:  It's never fun being sick, especially for children this time of year. To help brighten the holidays, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the state's largest provider of pediatric health care services, is hosting "A Blizzard of Activity," a winter-themed carnival. This event is for patients at Children's Hospital and their families. At the event, attendees will:

Play winter-themed games.
Chill out with refreshments, including a Dairy Queen Blizzard®.
Decorate a gingerbread house.
Make crafts.
 
There will be special appearances from Buddy the Elf, Sugar Plum Fairy Ballerinas, players from the Milwaukee Admirals hockey team, and Disney Princesses Belle and Cinderella.

Oh, and Santa Claus will be there, too!

When:  2 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21

A Blizzard of Activity is provided by the generous support of Dairy Queen, a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals partner.

Media is asked to park in the circle drive at Children's Corporate Center, 999 N. 92nd St., and walk to the hospital entrance where they will be greeted by a member of the Public Relations & Marketing Department.
