Wisconsin Football Coaches Association (WFCA) All-Star Football Games
The 2017 WFCA All-Star Charity Football Games took place on July 15 at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Players and coaches raised more than $457,000 for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin! For many of the players — all recent high school graduates — this experience is their first exposure to the power of philanthropy. They quickly realize that giving can benefit the receiver and the giver.
Players were honored to compete against some of the best high school football players in the state for the prestigious games. More importantly, they had the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of other kids.
During training camp week, players met with Children’s patients who may never get a chance to play football — giving them a palpable connection to the cause. Over the past nine years, the partnership between the WFCA and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has raised more than $3 million, making a true difference in the lives of the patients and families we serve.
The 2018 WFCA All-Star Games will take place on Saturday, July 21.
