Wisconsin Hospital Association's Advocacy Day
Wisconsin Hospital Association's (WHA) Advocacy Day in Madison, Wisc. is an annual event that connects hospital supporters with their state legislators so lawmakers can learn how issues impact local hospitals and communities. Children's Hospital staff and leaders help shape the future of health care in Wisconsin communities.

WHA Advocacy Day 2017
Over 100 Children’s advocates, including leaders, staff, volunteers and patient families attended the event on April 19 with about 1,000 hospital advocates from across the state. Children’s supporters met with lawmakers to discuss important issues facing the children in our community.
At this year’s event, Peggy Troy, Children’s president & CEO, was honored to receive the Advocacy All-Star Award from WHA on behalf of Children’s. This annual award recognizes stellar grassroots advocacy engagement by a member organization. We especially would like to thank members of Children’s Advocacy Network (C.A.N.) for all of their past and continued efforts to speak up on behalf of Wisconsin’s kids.
Visit WHA's HEAT page to learn more about their advocacy efforts.
