As a pediatric surgeon, Dr. Siddiqui focuses on the comprehensive surgical management of neonatal and congenital anomalies, including diaphragmatic hernia, anorectal malformations, pulmonary malformations, biliary atresia and intestinal conditions such as Hirschsprung’s Disease. She also provides surgical care for infants and children with childhood cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, traumatic injuries, chest wall deformities, and gastroesophageal reflux.

Sabina Siddiqui completed her undergraduate degrees in Communication and Biology from the George Washington University in Washington, DC. During her time in the DC area, she volunteered at a number of free clinics and HIV counseling groups and developed a passion for humanitarian medicine. She decided to pursue this passion professionally and moved back home to Tennessee to complete her medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis as one of five Merit Scholars who attended school with a fully paid scholarship. Sabina then pursued her general surgery training at the University of Tennessee in her hometown of Knoxville, TN. As a surgical resident, she won the "Golden Apple" teaching award from the medical students every year since the awards inception as well as multiple research and performance awards.

Her interest in pediatric surgery prompted her move to Ann Arbor, where she spent a year as Medical Innovation Fellow, studying the short comings in technologies available in the care of children and how to ameliorate these deficiencies. She has developed numerous projects to better pediatric care, including an award winning design for children undergoing treatment for neuroblastoma. One of her projects has burgeoned into a full fledged company, Brio Device, LLC for which she serves as co-founder and Chief Medical Officer. Further pursing training in pediatric surgical care, Sabina finished an additional two fellowships at the University of Michigan in Pediatric Surgical Critical Care and Pediatric Surgery.  She is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care and board eligible in Pediatric Surgery.
