I have been working at Children’s Hospital for seven years, and love the opportunity to work with children and adolescents on many issues that present during childhood and young adulthood. A passion of mine is working with children and teens on trauma. It is very rewarding and humbling to help adolescents and children work through some of their most difficult experiences in a safe, caring, evidence-based way which also improves behaviors.
I believe that the family is key in helping change and improve problems and symptoms. Whether it is an adolescent or an elementary age child; caregivers, parents and relatives are key in facilitating healthy and positive movement forward towards success. As experts on how children work, think and function, adults have a vital role in therapy, and are people I am always wanting to work alongside with.
