Dedicated to your kids

The pediatricians and staff of Bayshore Pediatrics are dedicated to making your child's development and medical care our priority, and we are an advocate for childhood health in the community. We look forward to providing your children with outstanding medical care that you can trust.

Connected with Children’s

Bayshore Pediatrics carries with it the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin name. That means you can take comfort in knowing your child’s doctor is affiliated with one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation. Our pediatricians will connect you directly with the best available doctor if your child ever needs to see a specialist at the main hospital. And best of all, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin specialists will keep your Bayshore primary care doctor updated on any tests, diagnoses or treatments.

Appointments

Visits are by appointment only. Please try to schedule well-child visits and checkups several weeks in advance. We understand sick children may need to be seen immediately and same-day appointments are available.

We offer several options to make it easy for you to schedule your appointment:

Please schedule your appointment or meet & greet* today!

*A meet & greet visit is a free appointment that allows you to meet with the doctor of your choice and see if our primary care office is a good fit for your family. Please remember that this is not a medical consultation and the doctor will not treat your child or offer medical advice during the visit.

Calling us

Our knowledgeable staff are available to schedule your appointments and answer questions throughout the day. Medical advice calls are returned by a triage nurse or physician to provide prompt attention to your concerns and questions.

After hours

After-hours phone calls are directed to our answering service and are handled by an on-call nurse or physician. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.

Concussion services

Bayshore Pediatrics now has an innovative program for managing concussions in young athletes, age 12 and older. This program utilizes a software tool called ImPACT™ (Immediate Post Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing). ImPACT is used by the National Football League, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League, as well as other professional, collegiate and high school sports programs nationwide to diagnose and manage concussions.

The computerized exam is first given to young athletes as a baseline. This noninvasive test is set up in a "video-game" type format and takes about 30-40 minutes to complete. Essentially, the ImPACT test is like a preseason physical of the brain. It tests things like memory, reaction time, speed and concentration. It is not an IQ test. The baseline test tracks how a young athlete's brain individually operates and provides a comparison if he or she is injured with a concussion.
