Mission: Healthy Kids, a partnership of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and Kohl’s Cares, is offering Wisconsin schools grades K-12 the opportunity to apply for one of 25, $2,000 Healthy Schools grants. These grants focus on helping schools make policy, system and environmental change in the areas of nutrition, physical activity and mindfulness.
The grant application period is open October 21 through December 13, 2019. Applications must be received no later than December 13 to be considered, and recipients will be notified in early 2020.
The application process for the Healthy Schools grant aligns with the requirements for the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s (DPI) Wisconsin School Health/WSCC award and mirrors the process to apply.
