Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin is a program of Children's Wisconsin
Imagine a state and nation without child abuse. It can happen. At Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin, we work with concerned citizens across Wisconsin to help bring us closer to this goal. Read more about us and the work we do on behalf of Wisconsin's children.
Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin builds community resources, provides training and public awareness, and carries out advocacy activities in order to strengthen child abuse prevention efforts in Wisconsin.
The Greg and Mary Ann Renz Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect
At Children’s Wisconsin our primary goal is to safeguard the health and safety of our patients, clients, families, employees and those we partner with. After much consideration and following the CDC recommendation to refrain from holding events of 50 or more people for the next 8 weeks, we have made the difficult decision to CANCEL the 2020 Together for Children conference. This event was scheduled for April 21-23, 2020, at The Osthoff Resort. Due to the size of the conference and number of presenters involved, we are unable to reschedule.
Please save the dates for the 2021 conference scheduled at The Osthoff Resort:
Seminar day: Tuesday, April 20, 2021
Conference: Wednesday, April 21 & Thursday, April 22, 2021
Child Abuse Prevention Month, April 2020
Each year Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin, Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board, and Department of Children and Families collaborate on a toolkit to help communities, schools, organizations, etc. plan a child abuse prevention campaign during April. The toolkit provides information, ideas, and resources to plan a campaign, event, or display. View the toolkit and plan something in your community, school, or business.
