My goal as a nurse practitioner is to provide individualized confidential care to adolescents. I love working with adolescents and enjoy the uniqueness of providing well and sick care to Milwaukee’s teens. Adolescence is a unique time in the life of a pediatric patient, and I feel that providing specialized adolescent care helps teens and their families develop and maintain healthy behaviors during their transition from childhood to adulthood. I try and arrange each patient’s visit to provide both treatment and education in a manner that is understandable, interesting, and sometimes even fun! When I am not in our downtown clinic seeing patients, I also work in the community at two school-based health clinics at Alliance School and Custer High School. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing with my two hyperactive cats, and traveling.
