Dear patient family,
It is with sadness I write to inform you I will be leaving Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin. I have been given a tremendous opportunity to work at the University of California – Davis and will be leaving Milwaukee as of September 1, 2014.
First of all, I would like to say what an honor it has been to provide care for you and your family and to get to know you over the years I have been at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. This has been one of the many celebrated joys of what I do and I will miss you and Milwaukee quite dearly.
Secondly, I want to reassure you that Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is a wonderful place to continue to receive your care and the breadth and depth we have built over the years has enabled us to become one of the premier heart centers in the country - ranked #5 by U.S. News & World Report. Accordingly, we will create hand-picked arrangements for follow-up care with one of our many world-class pediatric cardiology practitioners. If you have a specific request for follow-up please fee free to contact Denise Kowalski at (414) 266-1753. The general number for central scheduling appointments is (877) 607–5280.
Thank you so much for entrusting your care to me and allowing me to be a part of your life over the years. I wish you the very best.
Stuart Berger, MD
