Next Door Pediatrics features two pediatricians who provide compassionate and dedicated medical care for children of all ages. We are affiliated with the pediatric experts of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and can draw upon those resources to provide the highest level of medical care possible.

Fall sports are just around the corner, and with that comes the annual sports physical.
It’s important to schedule your child’s sports physical as soon as possible to avoid the rush of appointments that come at the end of the summer. Schedule your child’s sports physical today by calling (414) 264-5338. You can also schedule an appointment online if you are a registered MyChart user.

That means you can take comfort in knowing your child’s doctor is affiliated with one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation. Our pediatricians will connect you directly with the best available doctor if your child ever needs to see a specialist at the main hospital. And best of all, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin specialists will keep your Next Door primary care doctor updated on any tests, diagnoses or treatments.
Finding our clinic
We are located by the Next Door Foundation building, near the intersection of 29th and Clarke streets. You can get to the clinic using these bus routes: 27 (27th street), 23 (Fond du Lac), 35 (35th street), 22 (Center street) and 21 (North avenue).
Visits are by appointment only. Please try to schedule well-child visits and checkups several weeks in advance. We understand sick children may need to be seen immediately and same day appointments are available.

Our clinic staff members are available to answer general questions throughout the day and urgent phone calls are returned promptly by a nurse or physician.
After-hours phone calls are directed to our answering service and are handled by an on-call nurse or physician. For emergencies, please call 9-1-1 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
We work with many different insurance companies. In most cases, we can file your claim for you.
Children in need of hospitalization may be admitted to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Those with minor injuries or problems may be referred to one of our urgent care locations
or to local emergency rooms. Next Door Pediatrics doctors also are on staff and available to see newborns at Aurora Sinai Medical Center and Wheaton Franciscan Health Care-St. Joseph.
Children's urgent care sites are the area's only walk-in clinics just for kids. The urgent care clinics are open nights and weekends when regular doctors offices are closed. Appointments never are needed.
