To fulfill our vision that Wisconsin's children will be the healthiest in the country, we need the help of our friends and partners in the community. It is through the generous support of individuals, family foundations, corporations and others that our exceptional doctors, nurses and other health care providers throughout the community are able to give kids the best care every day.

Whether offering the best outcomes in the world for the most complex conditions (Herma Heart Center), guiding new lifesaving research breakthroughs (whole genome sequencing) or delivering quality care to children in at-risk neighborhoods, Children's Hospital sets new standards of excellence in pediatric health care.

Support of our hospital and programs — whether through direct donations, event participation, fundraising or volunteerism — is the investment of a lifetime. When you make that investment, you are supporting critical and preventive care programs that make a difference in the lives of kids and families.

Thank you for being an advocate for children.

Funding priorities

Caring for children is a collaborative mission, so when deciding how best to serve our kids, we surveyed the community to help us identify our priorities for investment. Our survey results helped us focus on two key initiatives:

  • Excellence in care
  • Community-based health
We listened to the community and aligned our investment priorities.

Excellence in care

Our Centers of Excellence include key nation– and region–leading programs which anchor our services and provide the extraordinary care that attracts families and top medical talent from across the country and around the world:

Community-based health

Our hospital is a world-class facility within a state-of-the-art regional medical center campus. But we go beyond our walls into neighborhoods to reach the children where they live, with preventive care and education. This approach is vital to the health of children in at-risk communities in Milwaukee. Community-based services include:

Our community programs are an investment in the whole child, regardless of zip code. If we make that investment together, we can celebrate having health kids throughout Wisconsin.
