Staff members in the Liver Disease Clinic see patients with a variety of liver problems and are experts in liver disease in children. We focus on family-centered care and use a multidisciplinary team approach to provide education, support and ongoing management to our ongoing patients.

We offer diagnosis and treatment for:

• Biliary atresia.
• Metabolic liver diseases, including:
  Maple syrup urine disease.
  Methylmalonic academia.
  Ornithine Transcarbamylase deficiencies.
  Glycogen storage disease.
• Alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency.
• Autoimmune hepatitis.
• Viral Hepatitis.
• TPN cholestasis.
• Jaundice/cholestatic liver diseases.
• Elevated liver numbers.
• Hepatomegaly.
• Alagille syndrome.
• Wilson's disease.
• Hemochromatosis.
• Cirrhosis: Cryptogenic-Idiopathic.

Location
The Liver Disease Clinic is located in the GI clinic on the seventh floor of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Clinic Building.

Hours
The Liver Disease Clinic is held Monday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 am.
