Are you a teenager older than age 16, retired adult, parent, college student or someone looking to find a way to give back?

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin provides outstanding patient care and is looking for volunteers just like you.

Volunteers create special partnerships with staff as well as play an important role in the hospital's commitment to children. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities await you!Opportunities are available ranging from Child Life (patient interaction) to the Gift Shop. Clerical placements are also available.

Volunteers share what this experience has brought to their life:

"The respect and warm smiles I get every Friday when I walk through those steel doors means so much. I'd rather receive those thank yous from the staff and patients than a physical reward!! This is by far the best thing that's happen to me because I feel like I'm making a difference!!"

"Today was my first day volunteering and I took care of a beautiful baby girl. I even made her smile and clap..I put her to sleep and this just reassures me this is the career  I want to do <3"

"The smiles I got when helping just confirms it - we are all connected."

"Today,  I got to spend a few hours with a 6 yr old boy who only spoke Spanish. Luckily, I speak Spanish! I was able to keep him laughing the whole time I spent with him. I'm so grateful to be given the opportunity to come and spend time with some of these children :)"

"All day I felt on the verge of tears from being so stressd, but the past 2 hours were nothing but smiles and laughter from these kids. What a blessing! <3"
