Zoo Interchange

Zoo Interchange Construction Information

The Zoo Interchange project touches the cities of Milwaukee, Wauwatosa and West Allis and will cover about nine miles of freeway corridor leading to and through the actual interchange.  The area surrounding the Milwaukee Regional Medical Complex, which includes Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, will be impacted. Check here for updates and resources from the Department of Transportation to assist you throughout this long-term construction project.

Work in the surrounding area already has begun. You may experience delays due to lane closures, utility work or detours. To ensure you arrive to your appointments on time, be sure to check the latest traffic information before leaving home. Download a 2013 construction map.
