Blood and Marrow Transplant Program

Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is proud to have touched the lives of hundreds of children and their families through our transplant programs. Children who have exhausted, or are not expected to survive conventional treatment for congenital heart disease, pediatric heart failure, chronic liver disease, chronic kidney disease and metabolic disorders, can thrive thanks to kidney transplant, liver transplant, and heart transplant.

Transplant team members are committed to providing the highest quality transplant services in a family-centered environment. Our uniquely qualified staff members work with the patient, family and referring physician to ensure optimal treatment before, during and after transplant.

The most recent advancement in solid organ transplants has been providing liver transplants for children with metabolic liver disorders. Children's Hospital is one of only a few centers in the country to offer transplant as a treatment option for these rare genetic disorders.
