Michael McElroy, MS, LAT
Sports Medicine Program

Michael McElroy, MS, LAT, is a nationally certified and state-licensed athletic trainer with Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Sports Medicine Program. He primarily sees patients with Kevin Walter, MD, at Children's Greenway Clinic, Greenfield, Wis.

McElroy earned a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana.

He has practiced at the high school and college levels, and also in an orthopedic and sports medicine clinic setting. He has experience treating athletes of all ages, from adolescents to professional athletes. He specializes in patient education and care of sports-related injuries and concussions.

McElroy is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association and Wisconsin Athletic Trainers' Association.
