Medical care

Our doctors provide medical care for kids from birth to age 18.

Patricia Safavi, MD
Patricia Safavi, MD, is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine and completed her residency in General Pediatrics at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She has been in Milwaukee since 1992 and joined the Primary Care and Dental Center in 1999.

Ishrat Siddique, MD
Ishrat Siddique, MD, is board certified in Pediatrics. She also is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as a member of the Academic Pediatric Association. She completed her residency in General Pediatrics at The State University of New York at Stony Brook and Jersey City Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Siddique completed an academic fellowship in General Pediatrics at The Medical College of Wisconsin. She has a special interest in developmental disorders in children and patient education. Dr. Siddique also speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.

Appointments and phone calls
All visits are by appointment only. If you have a sick child, we make it a priority to schedule a visit the same day. Call to make an appointment: (414) 264-5338.

Staff members can answer basic questions throughout the day. After hours, the doctor on call handles urgent phone calls. When calling our office after hours, you will reach our answering service. Please save nonurgent calls for regular office hours.

Urgent care
If you need medical care right away, Children's Urgent Care has many locations. Call (414) 266-4800 for the location closest to your home.

Hospital care
Children requiring a hospital stay will be admitted. Dr. Safavi and Dr. Siddique are on staff at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and see newborns at Aurora Sinai Medical Center and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-St. Joseph.

For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Dental care

Children's Hospital partners with families, medical providers and others in the community to improve the dental health of children. Together, we help kids and families understand that dental care is an important part of a child's good health.  

We care for the special and unique dental needs of children. Our dental team includes pediatric dentists, hygienists and dental assistants who understand how a child's mouth and jaw should grow. We do regular checkups and fix dental problems or injuries. Our dentists and staff have special training to provide treatment for a wide variety of children's dental needs in a kind way.

Billing and insurance for medical and dental care

Children's Hospital's Primary Care and Dental Center works with many insurers. We ask that you provide a copy of your insurance card at every visit.
