Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Fox Valley hospital is located on the Theda Clark Medical Center campus in Neenah, Wis. Theda Clark Birthing Center is just steps away from our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, allowing our team to provide the highest level of care to your newborn within minutes. If a baby is expected to need a higher level of care, our NICU team is present in the delivery room at the time of birth.

Our babies have access to the experts at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, which is rated the best NICU in the nation by Parents magazine. Our neonatologists regularly work with cardiac, gastroenterology, genetic and metabolic specialists at our Milwaukee hospital. Babies requiring surgery are transferred to Milwaukee by our neonatal transport team.

Our NICU, which was designed with input from patient families, provides infants and their families with the individualized support and privacy they need to thrive.

We have four patient rooms, or "pods," each accommodating up to six babies. Each pod has its own individual theme and was custom painted by the mother of one of our NICU graduates. The themes are balloons, meadow, under the sea and lily pads. Two isolation rooms accommodate babies whose conditions require extra precautions. Take a virtual tour.
