Safety and quality - Number of patients
Urgent care visits
Why we measure it - Research shows that doctors and clinics that treat a large number of patients tend to have better results.

What this means - The chart shows our urgent care visits have been steady. In 2009, we had many visits due to H1N1 (swine flu).
About the data - This is the number of visits to our urgent care locations in the Milwaukee area.
What we're doing to provide the best care:
- We offer five urgent care clinics in the Milwaukee area. Urgent care is for illnesses or injuries that you normally would get care for at your regular doctor's office. Our urgent care sites are open nights and weekends when regular doctor's offices are closed.
- Our urgent care clinics are the area's only walk-in clinics just for kids. All our doctors are board-certified in Pediatrics.
- The emergency room is for more serious illnesses and injuries. When you use urgent care for less serious issues, you may get care quicker or this may reduce your costs. Learn more about when to use urgent care and the emergency room.
