Individual and family counseling is available for children and adolescents who need help with:
- Physical or sexual abuse, neglect or other trauma.
- Depression and anxiety.
- Low self-esteem.
- Problems due to divorce, separation, remarriage or the death of a loved one.
- Parent-child conflicts.
- Pre- and post-adoption transition.
- Anger management issues.
- Academic or behavioral problems at school.

Our staff Children's Service Society therapists have extensive experience working with children, parents and families, including those involved in the child welfare system.
Laurie Larrison, MSE, LPC, is a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a master's degree in Counseling. Laurie specializes in working with survivors of sexual violence, including childhood abuse and adult victimization. She provides outpatient psychotherapy for children and families with a wide range of issues including sexual abuse, domestic violence, divorce and a variety of adjustment disorders. Laurie also works with young adults as they work through adjustment to life away from home and other life stressors. Laurie has participated in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy training and has completed trauma-focused trainings including, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Effects of Trauma on Child Development and Adult Functioning.
