Huda Elshershari, MD, a pediatric cardiologist board certified in Pediatrics, has joined Children's Physician Group. She offers services in Illinois at 2401 Ravine Way, Suite 101, in Glenview and at Greenleaf Professional Campus, Suite 201, 310 S. Greenleaf Ave. in Gurnee.

Dr. Elshershari received her degree from the Al-Fateh University Faculty of Medicine in Tripoli, Libya. She completed her residency at University of Iowa Children's Hospital, Iowa City, and a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, Ill.

Prior to joining Children's Physician Group, Dr. Elshershari was a pediatric cardiologist at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago, where she also was assistant professor of Clinical Pediatrics.
