Referrals to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin-Fox Valley predominantly come from the "New North" region of the state, which includes the following counties: Outagamie, Winnebago, Calumet, Waupaca, Brown, Shawano, Oconto, Marinette, Door, Kewaunee, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Florence, Menominee and Waushara.

What this means - A majority of our referrals come from northeast Wisconsin. It is typical of neonatal intensive care units to have a fairly local referral base.
