Kiwanis honors Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

MILWAUKEE (3/9/2009) - Children's Hospital of Wisconsin was awarded the 2009 Kiwanis Hall of Fame Award. Cindy Christensen, the hospital's chief operating officer, accepted the award at a celebratory luncheon March 4. The Kiwanis Hall of Fame Award recognizes an organization that clearly demonstrates its commitment to the long-term betterment of the Milwaukee community, enhancing the lives of its citizens, visitors and guests. In conjunction with the Kiwanis honor, Mayor Tom Barrett proclaimed March 4 Children's Hospital of Wisconsin day in the City of Milwaukee.
