The Imaging Core is designed to provide imaging services for a fee that matches our costs without profit. The mission is to facilitate investigator-initiated research among multiple institutions. Other outside investigators also may be eligible for access at the discretion of the director. Invoices are generated monthly and it is expected that all invoices be paid within 30 days. All users of the core will be individually invoiced.

In general, access to the imaging equipment is on a first come, first served basis. We encourage people to plan in advance for completion of work to ensure equipment availability.

Access to the microscope systems is controlled by card-reader room access and computer logon. Use of the equipment after hours requires prior approval by the director and a documented history of responsible and competent independent usage.
