Julie Lathrop Nursing Research Award

The Julie Lathrop Nursing Research Fund was established October 28, 1994, to support Julie's vision of advancing the care of children by strengthening nursing practice through education and research. Julie was a pediatric nurse and the director of Educational Services at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for 16 years. She received the Nursing Research Award in 1993.
This annual award, in her honor, recognizes a nurse or nursing research team that demonstrates the advancement of nursing knowledge and quality patient care through the utilization of nursing research.
