best practices in PEDIATRICS

Sign up for the "Best Practices in Pediatrics" fall conference today

The "Best Practices in Pediatrics" fall CME conference will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Hilton Northbrook located at 2855 North Milwaukee Ave., Northbrook, Ill.

This conference will provide the latest information about common problems encountered in pediatric practice and will benefit all health care providers who work with children, including pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Educational credits are available to participants.

Conference topics (subject to change) include:

  • Updates on Pediatric Burn Care in the Outpatient Setting.
  • Performance Enhancing Substances.
  • Management of the Child with a First Seizure.
  • Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery.
  • Update in Primary Immune Deficiency Disorders.
  • Life After Childhood Cancer Treatment and Bone Marrow Transplant.
  • Skin Cancer: New Directions.
  • Prevention of Sudden Cardiac Death in Athletes: Can it be Done?

There is no fee to attend the conference, but early registration is recommended.

Physicians only should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
