Physician liaisons provide helpful resource for referring physicians

Referring physicians with questions about services provided at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin locations are encouraged to contact the physician liaisons for their areas. These individuals are:

The liaisons, who are part of the Children's Hospital and Health System Planning and Marketing Department, focus on developing relationships with referring physicians by:

• Providing information about pediatric sub-specialist physicians and changes in the medical staff.
• Offering information about inpatient and outpatient clinical services, including new technologies.
• Sharing information about Continuing Medical Education credit opportunities available through the hospital and health system.
• Acting as a resource for resolving referral issues.
• Collecting ideas and feedback about services that might better meet patient and referring physician needs.

These individuals act as liaisons between referring physicians and other health care professionals at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin to ensure timely and accurate responses to questions and concerns.
