Employees rate Children's Hospital and Health System a top employer

Children's Hospital and Health System employees rated the organization a top employer through surveys conducted by The Business Journal and MetroParent magazine. Employees cited our special mission to help children and families, Healthy Steps wellness program and well-rounded benefit package among the many reasons they enjoy working here.

As a result, The Business Journal named the health system for a second year in a row in its "Best Places To Work" issue in 2007. Just a few weeks later, MetroParent named Children's Hospital and Health System a "Family-Friendly Workplace."

In 2007, Children's Hospital and Health System also earned a Gold Well Workplace Award from the Wellness Councils of America for its proactive employee health and wellness programs.
