Center for International Health

Center for International Health (CIH)The Center for International Health is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve global health through international health partnerships that offer training, consultation, technical assistance, material resources and health systems development techniques to strengthen the clinical, technical and management capabilities of health professionals worldwide.

FeroahAs a consortium comprising Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Froedtert Hospital, the Medical College of Wisconsin, the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, GE Healthcare and Milwaukee County, the Center is able to combine the extensive resources of these prominent and cutting-edge academic and medical institutions to provide health education and training services of a depth and efficiency not commonly found in international health care.

Over the past 25 years, the consortium has engaged in health education and training services for thousands of physicians, nurses and other health professionals. Through the involvement of local and international non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations and government agencies, numerous partnerships have been developed to meet specific health care needs in more than 45 emerging and developing countries.
