Medicare/Medicaid
Children's Hospital accepts Medicare, Wisconsin Medicaid, Illinois Medicaid and Michigan Medicaid. Other out-of-state Medicaid programs may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Tricare/HIRSP
We accept Tricare and HIRSP.

Self-pay payment plans and discounts
Employers and insurance companies are increasing deductibles, co-pays and co-insurance. Children's Hospital expects you to pay your portion of our bill. If you are unable to pay your whole balance, our financial counselors can help with a payment plan. If you do not have insurance, contact our financial counselors for a Charity Care application or to ask about a self-pay discount.

We accept a personal check, bank check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express. You can make your credit card payment online at www.chw.org/makeapayment.

Charity care
Children's Hospital is committed to providing affordable health care to those most in need. Anyone may apply for our Charity Care Program by calling one of our financial counselors. Charity Care discounts are based on family size, income and household assets.
