At Children's Hospital, 100 percent of pediatric patients were alive one year after transplant, compared to 96.3 percent that would have been expected based on characteristics of these patients.

One year after placement on the waiting list, 58.3 percent of patients at Children's Hospital have been transplanted compared to 33.6 percent for all centers in the nation.

In fact, half of the patients on the waiting list at Children's Hospital received a transplant just over 2 months after listing. There have been no recent deaths on the waiting list.
