Musculoskeletal Oncology Clinic
The most common bone cancers are osteosarcoma and the Ewing family of tumors, which usually happen in children and teens. Surgery is the main treatment, but therapy that combines surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy often is required.
The clinic specializes in treating:
- Ewing's sarcoma.
- Osteosarcoma.
- Avascular necrosis.
The team develops comprehensive plans for each patient that outline specific goals of care for tumor treatment and follow up, therapy side effects, rehabilitation and return to normal daily activities.
