Children's Hospital and Health System's Web site wins award from Web Marketing Association

Milwaukee, Wis. (10/18/06) - Children's Hospital and Health System has won a Non-profit Standard of Excellence 2006 WebAward from the Web Marketing Association for its Web site redesign, www.chw.org.

The Web Marketing Association entries were judged on top Web site design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation and use of technology. This is the first year Children's Hospital and Health System has won an award from the Web Marketing Association.

Earlier this year, Children's Hospital and Health System's Web site received first place in the Interactive Media category of the Ninth Annual Wisconsin Clarion Awards. The award, presented by The Association for Women in Communications Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, recognizes excellence in the communications and marketing field.

The Web Marketing Association is working to create a high standard of excellence for Web site development and marketing on the Internet. Staffed by volunteers, it is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, public relations and design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of Web site development and marketing on the Internet. Since 1997, the Web Marketing Association's annual WebAward Competition has been helping interactive professionals promote themselves, their companies and their best work to the outside world. Now in its tenth year, the WebAward Competition has become the premier award event for Web developers and marketers worldwide.
