Counseling and Case Management
Child and Family Counseling Children's Service Society of Wisconsin's counseling programs are based on the premise that a child lives within a family and a family lives within a community. Working with the child only and ignoring other sectors in which he or she must function is not sufficient to bring lasting change. Through its child and family counseling programs, Children's Service Society deals with the big picture while working with children and families to address problems and resolve social and emotional difficulties.
Case Management Children's Service Society provides case management services in a variety of different programs throughout the State. Through case management, Children's Service Society staff members coordinate and provide services and support to children and their families ensuring that services being provided are responsive to the goals and needs that are identified for the family. The basic goal of case management is to assist families in identifying their needs and providing them with options for services and support.
Pregnancy Counseling and Resources Coping with an unplanned pregnancy or with parenting can present overwhelming challenges. Whether providing information for birthparents to examine their options, preparing them to raise their children or finding loving adoptive homes, Children's Service Society counselors offer free, confidential and supportive guidance to help birthparents sort through their feelings and make the best decision possible.
