Pediatric Transplantation medical director appointed
Brian Shames, MD, has been appointed medical director of Pediatric Transplantation at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He also is an abdominal transplant surgeon at Children's Hospital and Froedtert Hospital and an assistant professor of Transplant Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Shames received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Connecticut. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and a Transplant Surgery fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. He is board certified in General Surgery.

Praveen Goday, MD, has been named program director of Nutritional Support at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. He also is a pediatric gastroenterologist at Children's Hospital and an assistant professor of Pediatrics (Gastroenterology) at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Goday is a graduate of the Madras Medical College in India. He completed a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut and a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.

Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies medical director announced
Beth Drolet, MD, has been appointed medical director of Birthmarks and Vascular Anomalies at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. She also is medical director of Dermatology at Children's Hospital and an associate professor of Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Drolet received her medical degree from Loyola-Stritch University in Maywood, Ill. She completed a residency in Dermatology and a fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology, both at the Medical College. She is board certified in Dermatology.
