Dear Parent,
Because Children's Hospital of Wisconsin places safety first, the Fox Valley Pediatric Unit will restrict visiting until the peak flu season ends, usually in the spring. During this time, the following people may visit the Pediatric Unit:
- Parents.
- Four other adults ages 18 and older.
- Brothers and sisters of the patient-visits are limited to 30 minutes each day unless other arrangements are approved by your nurse.
Visitors who have cold or flu symptoms will not be allowed on the unit. If the parents of the patient have these symptoms, they will be asked to wear a mask while visiting.
You can help keep your child safe by making sure no one who is sick visits your child. If you feel sick, you should stay home too. If you must visit the hospital while sick, wear a mask and wash your hands before touching your child.
If you have questions about restricted visiting, contact your child's nurse or doctor. |
