Clinic location
The Feeding, Swallowing and Nutrition Center is located in the GI clinic on the seventh floor of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin's Clinic Building.

Clinic hours
8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Outpatient clinic appointments are held weekly on Wednesday and Thursday.

Who will I see?
On your first visit to the center, you and your child will meet with members of the main team.

We will look at your child's:

  • Medical/health status.
  • Oral-sensory-motor-function and swallowing.
  • Behavior and how he or she acts with the family.
  • Nutrition.

The team members will make initial recommendations during your visit and send you home with your beginning plan of care. After the team meets, you and your child's primary care doctor will receive reports with a full plan and follow-up recommendations.

Multidisciplinary care
It takes many people to care for a child. We provide multidisciplinary care, which means we have a team of specialists available to care for all of your child's needs.

Inpatient Behavioral Feeding Program.
